What a "Construction Barricade" Actually Is

A construction barricade is a freestanding, weighted, retroreflective unit used to (1) close a section of road or sidewalk, (2) warn approaching drivers or pedestrians of a hazard, or (3) define the boundary of an active work zone. Different from crowd-control barriers (which manage people at events) and Jersey barriers (which provide vehicle impact protection).
